ORDER PICKING

The ASPOS PDA facilitates pick orders to collect products of an order from the stock in a store or a warehouse. After completing order picking the goods are packed, labelled and shipped, all of which are supported by the PDA. Shipments may either go to a customer in case of weborders or another store in case of interbranch orders.

STOCK COUNTS

To optimise stocks various counts are supported by the ASPOS PDA. Counts may either be initiated in a store or warehouse, or at the headquarters and pushed to the locations. Executing counts with the PDA is very easy; just scan products and enter quantities and your stock is automatically updated in ASPOS.

With ASPOS different types of counts are possible.
Here is a selection:

Partial count
It may be too much work to count the whole stock at once, then a partial count is helpful. Count your stock part by part, for example by floor, or by shelf and update your stock registration administration step by step.

Negative count
As long as your stock management is not totally in control it is recommended to execute negative counts. This means you specifically count products with negative stock levels in ASPOS.

Empty shelf count
To prevent no-sales the PDA supports an empty shelf count. You carefully examine empty shelves and scan shelf labels to ensure accurate replenishment. If consistently executed you’ll gradually eliminate empty shelves.

RECEIPT CONTROL

Receipt control may be time consuming. The ASPOS PDA will save a lot of time and accurately execute receipt controls. You can check incoming goods on the purchase order, invoice or packing slip. If correct receipts can be directly booked through into your stock. Customers receive a message that their customer order is waiting for pick up.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

You can also use the PDA to walk through the store with your customer and collect and scan his desired items. The PDA puts them on a waiting slip ready at the cash register. It is an extra service you can offer your customers!

ASPOS PDA is an application in the ASPOS suite. Like all other applications in the ASPOS suite, the PDA is offered fully hosted, software as a service. All you need is a wifi network and a handheld terminal and you’re good to go!
