The ESL service digitally links products in ASPOS to electronic shelf labels in stores. Whenever product data alters in ASPOS, the change automatically goes to the shelf labels in the store(s), in realtime. Accordingly, shelf labels are always up to date, with 100% price accuracy. The ASPOS ESL service communicates wirelessly. Thanks to modern technology, our ESL solution has very low infrastructure costs. We integrated into ASPOS the ESL product of Solum, the number 1 worldwide in ESL. Solum provides labels in many sizes and colors. Label layouts may be customized to your needs. The labels are simply clicked into the shelf rails. There is a unique serial number on each label. With the ASPOS PDA, you scan the product barcode and the label barcode one after the other. This way ASPOS knows exactly which label belongs to the product.

Digital ink
The labels work with digital ink, also known as e-paper. E-paper only uses electricity when the label is adjusted.
Monitoring
This communication is monitored and if it fails you can easily see it in ASPOS. If the connection is lost or the battery is empty, the information remains neatly on the label.
Sustainability
Labels only need power during adjustment and batteries last 5 to even 10 years. Batteries are replaceable from the label.

Dimensions
There is plenty of choice in sizes, ranging from small to large depending on the space on the shelf and what you want to put on the label.
Colors
The labels are available in color combinations white, black, red, and yellow. These colors can be combined on one label. Red is often used to stand out with actions. We have imitated an authentic chalkboard for fresh products.

What do you need to start?

The ASPOS ESL service is an add on on your ASPOS platform. It is provided software as a service and fully hosted. You only need wifi and shelf strips to attach the labels.
