The ASPOS PDA application has been updated. Working with our co-sourcing development team in China, the PDA application has undergone a major upgrade.
The ASPOS PDA is indispensable for mobile in-store or warehouse management of stocks, prices and orders. The application runs on a wireless handheld terminal and operates completely online and real time in ASPOS. The PDA is one of the applications on Valk Solutions’ ASPOS omnichannel cloud platform.
Some of the improvements:
- The PDA application has been made multilingual, per user not only the screens but also the data are displayed in their own language
- The application is significantly faster thanks to the services of the Rest API
- The user experience has been improved by a revamped UI and responsive design, among other things
- The new PDA application is more secure due to the combination of new techniques in the PDA, Rest API and ASPOS.

The first customers in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands have started using the new PDA application and are positive. This upgrade will be rolled out to our customers at no additional cost as part of the maintenance contract.
