Additional security for your systems
“Any device connected to the Internet can be targeted by cybercriminals. This applies to your private computer and laptop, as well as your business back office or POS PC. Your important business processes run on these business systems. It can have very nasty consequences if they are infected with malware. Therefore, preferably do not use your business systems for visiting websites, sending e-mails and internet banking.
Some 80% of cyber incidents are caused by human activity, and the number of incidents is still increasing every year. So vigilance is called for. You may choose to train your employees in safe handling of the Internet, but you may not have the right expertise to do so. Then it is easier to limit Internet use at the checkout as much as possible.
Did you know that it is possible to shut down checkout systems? So that only checkout operations can be done on it. Staff cannot then access websites unrelated to work or install programs. We can help you with this by “sealing” the cash register, so to speak, to prevent unsafe use of the system. In doing so, we disable functions that are not necessary for using the POS.
